The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan community based volunteer organization that has fought since 1920 to improve our government and engage all citizens in the decisions that impact our lives. The League does not endorse candidates or political parties. Community volunteers operate at national, state and local levels through more than 800 state and local Leagues, in all 50 states as well in DC, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and Hong Kong.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The election is a by-mail election. Traditional polling places will not be open and are not an option for voting on Election Day.
Ballot packages will be mailed to qualified, registered voters twenty-one (21) days before Election Day. Ballot packages will be mailed to your address in the State of Alaska Voter Registration database record as of 30 days before the election.
The last day to register to vote or update your voter registration is on Sunday, March 8th, 30 days before the next regular or special Municipal election.
