2022 STATEWIDE ELECTIONS

There are three statewide election days this year on June 11th, August 16th and November 8th.

The first election day is June 11th, the “Special Statewide Primary Election for U.S. Representative” to select 4 candidates to temporarily fill the vacant US House seat of Don Young (approximately a 3 month term).

The second election day is August 16th when both the “Special Statewide General Election for U.S. Representative” and the “Statewide Primary Election” will take place. The former will elect, from the 4 selected on June 11th, the person to temporarily fill the vacant US House seat of Don Young, the latter is the statewide primary to select the top four candidates for all State and US seats.

The third election day is November 8th the “Statewide General Election”, where all Alaska State and US seats will be voted on, including the US House seat of Don Young (this time for the full 2 year term).
